SDCC was most unkind to the wallet this year, still waiting on a second set of Polly Pockets to debox as I like the packaging so much I didn't want to debox them.
Okay, this doll is...underwhelming. Though I do still love her a lot, she is definitely as stunning, or detailed as Cerise Wolf. My biggest problem with her is the fact that many people, including myself, got a Raven with a bad face. One of her eyes are lower than the other on mine, and this really bothers me considering that she is an exclusive and I paid 70 dollars for her. Another disappointing aspect about this doll is the fact that she has re-casts of her Signature doll's shoes. Yes, it's true you can't really see them over the dress, but it's still utterly disappointing Mattel didn't give her cool shoes like Cerise from last year.
On the brighter side of things, I really love her outfit and collar piece! I felt like the collar piece is the one thing that Mattel really tried on this doll– that and the box. The box is absolutely stunning and so detailed! It's the only thing that I prefer over the Cerise Wolf doll, the box.
Overall, I felt like Mattel could've done so much more with this doll, and could've put more effort into making her. But, I'm really glad I have her in my collection, she is a beauty!
