I'm really happy with how she turned out. All worried looking, so much so you want to pet her. XD
I'm not sure if the owner wanted her to be on a SD16/SD13/SD10 body, but I tried to put her on a SD10g body (only girl body I have) and it looked SO WRONG. Big fatty-chan bobblehead much? XD She's on a SD13b body here, but it's just a head shot, so it's okay. ^_^

Uhhhh, I have totally not felt like taking pics in a while. I have taken a few, but hated them all, and have just generally been unmotivated.
I've been thinking more of selling off some of my older dolls, since I have no inspiration for them these days. It doesn't help that it's getting harder and harder to find good clothes I like for SD13 boys, and being able to buy things for my dolls is a large part of how I play with them. Also, I've been focusing more on the girls since there's more stuff I like out there for them, and Volks hasn't been helping me out, as I haven't really liked any of their new boys in a few years. Their trending towards slightly more realistic boys (when they release them) doesn't do it for me! At least most of their girls still have that classic Volks feel to me.
Anyway, this isn't to say I'm uninterested in dolls at all! I actually have a surprise sculpt ordered, with ambitious plans. Also, I'm really excited about the LA Dolpa this September! I just haven't had inspiration for taking my own pictures. :B Even this one, I don't think is very good, but Sugar's been waiting to show off her new cat dress for a while, so I finally got a not-as-terrible-as-the-rest shot of her in it.
So, yeah. Sorry I'm not around! I do glance at Flickr every now and again, but haven't felt inclined to be all that involved in the community here lately. Once I feel up to taking & posting pics regularly again, I'm sure I'll dive back in. Right now, it just takes too much brain-effort! :B

Left = SD13 Williams (Keigo), right = SD17 Williams (yet unnamed). There're only very subtle differences in the sculpts, as far as I can tell.
Not sure what to make of Keigo's expression. XD
I found this lovely polyester chiffon with a black embroidered border and designed this outfit with a crocheted top. I can't crochet, so I commissioned Auguste Tiefenbach to crochet the tops for me. I hand stitched a lining into them of black 4-way stretch cotton and added pearl accents. It attaches to the skirt with several hooks so it can be worn with the skirt or separately. I wanted the skirt to hang naturally but to also have some fullnes. It is lined in white silk and there is a detachable flexible hoop that snaps to the slip if you want the skirt to have that fullness. I made 2 necklace styles for the dress. It is made to fit girls that are similar in size to the Volks SD13 girl.

Happy 6th Birthday, Nico!
Celebrating Halloween and dressing up wasn’t too big in the 1920s but I like to think maybe Nico and Nix had something to do with making it popular.
October 31st was Nico’s birthday and she often loved to dress up with Nix and throw parties at her uncle’s estate in Northern England. The war was over and Nix seemed almost happy again.

Transferred from Northern at inception, SD13 was new as Northern NRF21, registered ASA21T. Realising the value of the plate, it was re-registered YSR152T. Sister SD14, new as ASA25T was also re-registered with a YSR-T plate at the same time.
yes, i realize that there's absolutely nothing new in those pictures. Even more so, it's amost comical re-do of Freeza's clover set. But, duh. Girls dont have any new clothes, and I am tired, and un-inspired, and lazy, and today is Kokoro's first birthday, so, something is better than nothing.
I really like her. I need new wig for her. Maybe new bigger eyes. And new clothes, definitely.
And now I am off to crawl in my bed for some healthy sleep. zzzzz.
He just arrived yesterday - on Friday the 13th! But I didn't open him until today. I know it's probably kinda strange to be getting SD13 Okita when everyone's getting SDGr Okita XD But I do still think he has a cute face.

We are coming back to the first stylization style that we have prepared for Etiude - soft, fragile and etheral, because we realized that we loved her the most at this time and lately we had less of affection for her. Now our love is back and we are very, very happy. Soon she will have 7 years, that is incredible...

Bueno a ver... yo que sé! x_D A mi me gustaban mucho las Anaises de Seraphstigma y este molde siempre ha sido uno de mis favoritos de Volks, y ya cuando la pusieron en SWD fue amor total :_D La compré en agosto del año pasado cuando perdí a una F-05 en Yahoo Japan, no sé si fue el destino que perdiera la F-05 porque a la semana la pusieron a ella y la gané, no me acuerdo cuanto me costó (ni me quiero acordar) pero ha valido la pena porque es preciosa <3 Me gusta como le queda el SD13, para cuando compre el cuerpo SD que quiero, iré a por el suyo.
