My own doll this time :3 I'm not sure if I will keep this face up, since I'm not sure I like it after all. I have to put her together and see how it looks.
She is super cute like this!
I'm selling this older Volks Syo head, and will be posting the old SD13 body that she's pictured on here too.
But, she is very cute, and kinda makes me question selling her...
However, the body needs TLC (cleaing, restringing, sueding, sanding) that I am not up for at the moment. And, I really don't have any ideas for the head (character, etc).
So... maybe at some future point, I'll re-consider and try to find another Syo (preferably the SWD one), plus a somewhat newer version of the SD13 girl body, maybe...
I know I'm in the minority, but I like some of the old Volks face-ups, especially Sachiko's. It's so simple, and to-the-point.
I also like that she uses the SD13 Four Sisters headsculpt; I've always wanted one, and for me this is the best version I could ask for :)
This nameless fellow came to me with unfinished mods, and i thought I'd be fine but I was way beyond my limits. Regardless, I think he turned out well. I'm just happy to have him, I've always wanted a Shiro Tachibana.

Since I've sold one of my old doll, Miss Bowie pretended some new clothes... I'll need to find a bigger box for her clothes! >__<
One of my dream dollies finally arrived home! I'm still figuring out his eye and hair colours. Will give him a new faceup when I have time. @_@ And yes, his default faceup is very good too. D: Feeling a little wasteful to remove it... But it isn't the feel I want for Mitsuo. ;_;

We picked one word from HwaLan[화란(化鸞 : Becoming a Lan-bird)],
and named him LanWoo[난우(ï¤ ç¾½ : A feather of the Lan-bird)]

Although the diameter of LanWoo's head is 8", his face size is not too small.

Compared to the body, the face is bigger.
Also the opening of the neck is ideal for fitting with SD13 bodies.
Therefore, when fitted with SD9 body, the neck will look short,
and the body will look diminitive with the head.
