Serving as the successor onto the 360 Challenge Stradale, the 430 Scuderia was unveiled by Michael Schumacher at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show. Aimed to compete with cars like the Porsche RS-models and Gallardo Superleggera, it is 100 kg (220 lb) lighter than the standard F430 and increases engine output to 375.4 kW (503 hp) at 8500 rpm. Thus the weight-to-power ratio is reduced from 2.96 kg/hp to 2.5 kg/hp.
In addition to the weight saving measures, the Scuderia semi-automatic transmission gains improved 'Superfast', known as 'Superfast2', software for faster 60 millisecond shift-times. A new traction control system combines the F1-Trac traction and stability control with the E-Diff electronic differential.
The Ferrari 430 Scuderia does 0-62 mph (100 km/h) in less than 3.6 s, with a top speed of 198 miles per hour (319 km/h).

An update of the Ferrari 430 Berlinetta from a LUGNuts Challenge a coupe of years ago (2009 year in review - Fire and Ice, from memory). I dragged it out this month as the basis for the Disney / Pixar 'Michael Schumacher Ferrari' character.
I thought it was a good opportunity to revise the design - new front fenders, bonnet and bumper, new rear bumper. Also, I thought it would be good to publish a 430 Scuderia (racing) Berlinetta design at the same time. This Scuderia model is illustrated here in red with silver/dark red racing stripe and a revised front bumper design.
from tokyo motor show 2007! and there was this old japanese woman checking out the car. A costumer? huahahaha yeah! She's the famous ferrari drifter that no one knows! :P
Location: Berlin
The 430 Scuderia is the more-hardcore-version of the beloved F430. The F was dropped because Ferrari really did butcher the nomenclature of the "430"-lineup.
It's one of the coolest Ferraris in recent history and is probably going to become an evergreen over time.
According to one source, 2523 cars were produced.
