He's 22 and he is so enjoyable to photograph! Captured at Wildwood, Herne Bay, Canterbury, UK

Laughing Kookaburra. One of the juvenile Kookaburras born here last spring.

Eva gets a little scruffy. We do shave her coat down twice a year, but doing so at this time of year would be cruel given our winter temperatures in Saskatchewan.

I was at a loss of what to do for her photo this week and was trying reflection shots on the hardwood. I loved the natural light so I got her to stand up do a paw shot. When I saw her scruff highlighted against the dark background I knew that I had my concept. So I told her to stay and she did so until I got the shot. When I told her that we were done, she just ran immediately into the kitchen and stared at the cookie tin. She really is a pro model.

Possibly Harewood's oldest and certainly most well known kite.

Just look at these two rogues! Wild and in their element. I think that's enough goat pics for tonight though!

But if you want more goat pics, look here www.flickr.com/photos/pentlandpirate/albums/7215767585940...

On the fin above the serial 80-(1)083, various patches can be made out showing signs of previous codes and markings and her black paint coating could do with a touch up here and there, however, with various combinations of sensors that can be attached to her fuselage spine and interchangeable nose sections, these 40 year old birds are still at the forefront of intelligence gathering

These usually bold and beautiful Brown Thrashers also molt! Bless its scruffy little heart! Bold and beautiful again soon.

This Roe Buck is not exactly in his prime as far as his coat goes...but looking handsome all the same. He'll be looking dapper in a few weeks time ❤️ Shame he didn't show up until the light had almost gone. Still was lovely to get a shot of him even if not the best quality 😁

Scruffy goats up in the park, losing their winter coat. :-)

Scruffy looking Robin.

This poor cat was in a bad need of a good brush.. he was very friendly.

On a walk around my neighbourhood in Spring, October 6, 2015 Christchurch New Zealand.

Another image from the same location from the photo I posted last week, this one though from a 14mm perspective vs a 180mm. Not sure I prefer one over the other, but instead enjoy the different aspects each one offers.

Thanks for viewing and have a great weekend!

Spotted in Pottergate, Helmsley, North Yorkshire

these are my faourite jeans by a looong way. scruffy and frayed around the hem, but oh so comfy. and a perfect fit on the arse, i must say.

oh the joys of having a father.

tarnished wedding ring.

a cigar for chewing.

a starched button down.

a sweet scruffy face.

its such a joy to live with someone for this long. to know someone this well. to be a part of a family. to be a part of something where you matter. i dont know where id be without family.

I dusted the board with a little powder colour and glitter. Sorry, this is bit of a rubbish photo :0) I'll try to take another before I deliver this.

For some reason his looks strangely better in real life. I think the texture of the paper doesn't reproduce too well digitally. But you'll have to take my word on that.

I was testing out my studio lights and Scruff decided he'd model for me, check his little legs out in the background lol :)

This little one needs a new suit

K'Rd street portrait taken a fair while ago, sadly I believe "Scruff" as he was nicknamed has now passed.

Caught what I think is a Herring Gull taking a Bath in the River Plym some weeks back, not a bird I often photograph but it did look a bit different being drenched and a bit worse for wear! :)

This was the closest approach I managed; he was looking a little bedraggled by his constant calling I thought

A rare moment she stops long enough to grab a quick snap. Matching her surroundings of a scruffy bluebell patch she breaks focus on the next direction of adventure reluctantly turning to my call with a stare full of attitude.
