Card made for this week's challenge. This is also for Lisa's Scribble this # 1 white color balance challenge. I'm a camera dummy and this give me a chance to learn how to use my camera more efficiently. This photo was taken under auto easy shot setting. (That's the only one I've using so far.)

Eucalyptus haemostoma (Scribbly Gum)

One of our Australian Native tree's. The 'scribbles' are created by insects burrowing underneath the bark.. the bark sheds and reveals their artistry!

When You try to use sketch paper for watercolor.....a3 format and a bit texture on the paper

Scribbly Gum forest at Kangaloon, NSW Southern Highlands.

We spent an amusing few minutes eating lunch on the beach and watching people pass by our cars. I'd scribbled out a sheet of paper with few words about the 1200 and sometimes there was a queue of people waiting to read it! It seemed to create a lot of interest, even if most of it was from people of 'a certain age' :-)

 

Mrs SL was also amused that most people were interested in 'her' car and not the Laurel....
