October totally snuck up on me, and I missed my chance for the opening day of Arachtober by forgetting it was, in fact, already October! A little sad that this is a day late, but happy Arachtober 2nd, everyone! This Huntsman was spotted with many others of its kind on a scribbly gum tree. Seen during a "night safari" at a local reserve. [Lower Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia]

The 'scribbles' on the bark of these trees are made by the larvae of tiny moths, which burrow under the bark. Like many eucalypts, scribbly gums lose their old bark each year, and when they do so the trails of the larvae can be seen.
What scribbles?
Interesting scribbles found out and about in the streets. So many different things to scribble with and on.
Perhaps a bit too abstract but I really liked this formation of seaweed on the beach. It almost looks like some handwriting or scriblings in the sand. On the other hand, I do understand when you don't see it :) In that case it might look like some messy seaweed.

Running and photography have given me more sunrises and sunsets in the last few years that I think I had seen in the years before. I don;t regret the ones I've missed, but I sure as hell appreciate the ones I'm seeing now.
Scribbles and I were looking out the window taking photos of the sunset, when we turned around we saw our shadows watching us on the wall!
A quick snapshot I took of myself interacting with the wonderful artwork at the Scribbled by Cica Ghost sim.
Input was a quick Procreate scribble for colors and processed in Wombo style The City using the prompts above the results.
Happy Monday, folks! After enduring a brutally cold Arctic blast last week that left the city frozen, we can finally look forward to some relief. This week promises to be significantly warmer for all of us in the Midwest. Stay cozy and enjoy!
