Phillips screw bits from my precision screwdriver kit, ranging from a minuscule #000 size to a very common #2.
I originally shot this with the usual black matte board I normally use for mirror shots, but was not totally satisfied with the results. Although I wasn't positive it would work well, I decided to use a sheet of corrugated cardboard which, well, see for yourself.
No problem!
A U.S. dime is just the right thickness to drive a standard slotted screw. I do recommend drilling a hole first, though. :-)

And yes, the head of the screw is smaller than the dime.

This is my favourite tool when doing any fastening. It holds the needed bits in the handle. This is the third one I have owned.

Specialty bits from a precision screwdriver set. Some of you may recognize the one on the left, but all three are for screws meant to discourage disassembly of electronic devices by ordinary people.
When I asked my husband, the closest father figure around here and the father of our son, for something that belonged to him, he handed me this pocket magnetic screwdriver. HMM!

This Torx size 20 bit is almost 4mm across. I have smaller sizes, but this one is teeny enough. lol.. It’s part of my tiny screwdriver bit set that I originally bought for working inside computers. But now I also use it to open parts of the action figures I have that have LED lights. Some of their eyes light up, etc.

Tiny screw from the junk drawer, no clue where it came from. On a magnetic screwdriver. Screw is 0.25 inches long, frame is a bit more than 1 inch across.
