Untitled Screenprint 10" x 10"

I printed some new set for the shop, I really like the black on red, gets me in the christmas mood already......

well that went fairly well : )

Screen print of the interior sleeve. Drawings of fans from outside Ibrox and Parkhead. Part of the Glasgows Mardi Gras Project about highlighting sectarianism within the city.

After mixing up the colors in quantities I hoped would be enough, I started printing the first layer. The acrylic ink started drying on the screen after about 40 prints, so I washed it off and started over with more retardant in the ink, which worked pretty well (didn't have to wash the screen during printing 200 copies for the remainder of the job layers).

You can see the drying system I improvised in my spare bedroom: clothesline between a few eye hooks with 200 paperclips and clothespins. Amazingly it worked and they didn't fall down.
