Finally got some copies of a few letterings I was asked to submit for Museums 001 back in early 2009. These are all screen printed on newsprint.

The background is archival giclee ink and the scooter is screen-printing ink, with just a hint of pearl shimmer. The two work together beautifully.

Screenprint based on the vintage cans that were outside my office for a while. The beer names and taglines are made up and the type is hand drawn - no fonts. This is the first in a six pack series. Four color with silver ink. 4.25 x 6.25.

Just got these back from the printer! Once again Fugscreen studios here in Chicago has done a great job. All are hand made, signed & numbered.
Finally got some copies of a few letterings I was asked to submit for Museums 001 back in early 2009. These are all screen printed on newsprint.
This is my first attempt at a screenprint anywhere close to this size. It has a 17 x 23 print area. Only two of the nine I printed came out perfectly registered. The rest had some dried out screen areas too and will end up being test prints I guess.
I had a nice couple come in for Art-A-Whirl and buy one framed so that was cool. I'm going to be doing a limited run of 25 of these in more pea green tones soon.

Moonchild comes in two color versions: Princeton orange in an edition of 50 (price €150) and moon silver in an edition of 25 (price €180).

These are some crappy shot of my first two screenprints. They will end up being scanned again and printed b/w, so I didn´t use any colors. I love the texture screenprinting gives to my otherwise 100% digital drawings.
Both pieces will be in our new book that illustrates 9" single record covers, which will be out this fall.
