The piece consists of (10) screenprinted and hand stitched poster/samplers that are set in stained wood frames. It exhibited first at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago’s MFA exhibition in the Spring of 2008. At this exhibit, viewers were able to sign up for an artist’s booklet containing the imagery from the original pieces and was titled The Daily Ministries of Sustenance.
Screenprinted and hand cut birch. Built around a 4" deep coffin. 16"X22".For the final Day of the Dead show at Young Blood Gallery in Atlanta.
I sort of like this on it's own. I'm thinking about doing a small art print of just that image.
