for *minette - late but still...
Yes, it's me. There's a lot going on here that tells who I am if you have a little background: this is a screen capture of the video feed from Tuesday's MLPA meeting in San Rafael, CA to determine if Fitzgerald Marine Reserve would get the protection it deserves. Here I've just read the message of support from the Friends of Fitzgerald and am delivering 1350+ signatures from the online petition.
Adjectives about me from this image: passionate, undeterred, unintimidated, freshly butchered hair, nervous, new, open, friendly, wrinkled, tired, determined, optimistic, proud, committed, XXL, objective, environmentalist, conservationist, not sure what to do with something in my hand (unless it's a camera)
I hope you all notice that contrary to my Flickr avatar, I do not actually have 3 eyes.
Marine Life Protection Act Blue Ribbon Task Force meeting, Embassy Suites, San Rafael, CA
This morning. Apparently, it's just steam - there are, for the time being, no indications that the eruption is about to start again.
Many mapping sites are springing up everywhere these days. This one CommunityWalk is quite attractive with many features.

After reading good things online about Photoshelter.com, I finally decided to invest in their photo archival / storage / publishing system.
I can now upload my photos full size to Photoshelter, archive them, and export to other sites while also showing them online in galleries or embed them on other websites.
I find the templates to be very simple, professional, and elegant. You can immediately purchase a photo and integrate it with your paypal merchant account. You also grant client´s direct access to their galleries. This feature will save me time and forget about zipping files and sending them via www.yousendit.com to editors!
