I need some decently sized Adeptus Mechanicus symbols for a terrain project I'm working on. The problem? No one makes the damn things any more. So, the only solution is to make my own.
I'm building the base model out of balsa wood and other stuff I have lying around the place, then I'll take a mould off it and make as many as I need! Theoretically :)
Tras 30 años de mi nacimiento y para conmemorar dicha cifra el señor Grego de ElPolloProductions tuvo a bien esculpir e inyectar en plastico una edicion limitadisima de una figura basada en mi persona...
Pintada con pinturas citadel,vallejo,acrilicos del lidl de oferta,pincel aerografo badger anthem comprado en el corte ingles sin escalera llamado ebay y lacado con barniz mate en spray de tamiya...
La pistola tiene un poco de scratchbuilding de mi junkyard de kits y los cables son restos de la construccion de los arcade sticks...
La peana esta hecha con dos planchas de dm pegadas con cola y cortada con una sierra de mesa que compre para los arcade sticks tambien...
Si es que al final invertir en herramientas es valor seguro!!
My first attempt at scratch building...
Progress report as of November 2020. The Nacelle pylons (Airfix sprue) are now in place.
I've made the general shape of both Nacelles (OHP Pens) & the various details that attach to the nacelles (bits off past Airfix kits).
The deflector dish has been completed (a lego dish, a part off an Airfix kit for the rear & a tiny Airfix rocket for the antenna).
The Starboard nacelle is finished & next work on finishing the Port Nacelle begins.
Converting an old Chimera to a Hellhound - The whole deal.
The valve on the tank is an ork demo change of some kind, the aquilla panels are from a Baneblade.

The first round of paint on the Titan. I'm going for a three colour block urban camo scheme. I'll do all of the shading with oils and the weathering with powders.
