A pre lunch visit to my local nature reserve, Wadelowes on4/5/2018. A beautiful Spring day with clear blue skies and a fresh breeze. There were very few insects visible but there seemed to be an eruption of teneral damselfies that were mostly too fast for me.

Hopefully not too many of these left this season - but a reality so so many mornings. And I could park in the garage, but it's an awkward open. And most of the time I don't mind scraping the windows off. And the frost glitters so wonderfully.

Can't beat a foetus jacket

Scraped the skin off my knuckles while rolling into school this morning because I was trying to hold the door open for myself. The doors that open towards you are one of those menaces to people in wheelchairs. It still stings nine and a half hours later.

Lisa is using her trowel to 'clean' the archaeology. She scrapes of a tiny amount of soil to leave freshly exposed, making the differences in colour and consistency more apparent to her highly trained eyes.
