World's Tiniest located in Wichita Falls Tx. There is a cool story behind it.

These tools are an excellent example of what the Acheulean Industry used. The Homo Erectus and the Homo Heidelbergensis started the Acheulean industry in between 1.5 and 0.3 Ma. This makes sense because Homo erectus and Homo Heidelbergensis are one of the closest to Homo sapiens, which are humans. This mean that their brain and head have evolved through time making them able to be a lot smarter than early humans were before them. Being smarter meant better tool-making capability. This picture is of tools made from the Industry. On the left, this tool is called the flake side scraper, which is a lot smaller compared to the tool on the right, which is called the hand-ax. I am going to go into more detail about the Flake side scraper and what its uses were to the early humans or Homo erectus and Homo Heidelbergensis. The Flake Side Scraper was actually used first by the Homo habilis because it was a basic tool to use. The Flake Side Scraper is actually a tool to make other tools that are a lot more complex than this tool is. The way the Flake Side Scraper is used is by placing the “core” in the toolmaker's left hand while he/she strikes it. They do this until another tools is sharpened or made like the hand ax, the right picture. So essentially the Flake Side Scraper is the architect and the Hand axe is the end product.
