Last October 27, 2018 the preschool to grade 3 pupils of St. Francis Cainta celebrated Scouting Month with half a days’ worth of games and activities. The first part of the event is the presentation of their patrol yell where they express the virtues of becoming a good scout through coordinated marches, cheers, and dance moves - a routine they practiced for many days. The next part of the event is the Scout Olympics which is a series of fun games to test and develop the important characteristics of scouting such as teamwork, patience, awareness, and a strong character.

Parents were encouraged to let their children go by themselves with only their patrol mates and scout masters to encourage independence - an important characteristic needed to become successful in life.

All in all it was a lively event with the little scouts enjoying themselves while having fun learning the fundamental skills and values of scouting

This photo is of my 5 year old beagle, Scout, and I. When we heard about what petsmart does to those innocent animals we vowed never to go there are purchase any of their products!! When we took the photo I felt really good about myself because wasn't supporting petsmart! Me and Scout had a fun time taking this photo, and hope that petsmart will change: www.petsmartcruelty.com/?c=ppscfp09

The final part of the SFAMSC Scouting Activities is the exciting Scout Olympics. The Scout Olympics is a series of challenges designed to test the students' scouting knowledge, logical thinking skills, and teamwork. To overcome the obstacles in the Scout Olympics, the patrol must not only rely on the abilities of their individual members but must function as a cohesive team, helping and relying on each other to win emphasising the scouting spirit of mutual trust and cooperation. ‪#‎scouting‬ ‪#‎scoutolympics‬ ‪#‎challenges‬ ‪#‎sfamsc‬ ‪#‎cainta‬
