What's up Flickr, happy Sunday! Decided to experiment with Sergey Ivanov's post production method on one of my images. Although this image wasn't captured for Sergey's method it turned out nicely. What do you think?

June 4, 2017 - This weekend I enjoyed the rare privilege of learning the art of outdoor Portrait Photography with Scott Robert Lim, a world renowned Photographer and Instructor, during our Desert Models in Joshua Tree Photography Workshop! Here is a picture of me with Scott Robert Lim on Day 2 of our Photography Workshop. I learned the art of using my wireless remote flash to take beautiful portraits of people in the great outdoors. It is a blessing to return back to my daily life and to have this important new photography skill in my repertoire. Special thanks to California Center for Digital Arts, David LaNeve, and his fine Staff for putting this wonderful Photography Workshop together for all of us! I went to Imaging in San Antonio and got to see Scott Robert Lim talk about off camera lighting. Not only is he an amazing photographer, but he is a great speaker. He was definitely one of my favorite presenters from the convention.

I did not bring my camera to the convention, so I used my cell for my 365.
"Dad, can you take a picture of me with my polar bear?"
Great practice for Scott Robert Lim techniques! 580ex on manual with shoot-through umbrella camera left. Shutter speed is faster to underexpose the ambient, flash lights the subject.
