Scope charity shop in Workington, that is. He wandered in, and sat down. Nobody knew who he belonged to - his collar was missing too. He hadn't read the 'no dogs allowed' sign, but the volunteers were too soft-hearted to turn him out into the street.
My telescope had barely come out of its case for days, so I was desperate to digiscope something, even if it was on a power line and (like this Himalayan Bulbul) it was a fairly common species. (BTW, that's a serious quiff, isn't it?)
