Scopes is a knitwear designer i came across, I enjoyed her designs as she uses harmonious and colour blocking colours. On the right side of this double page spread I made a small collage inspired by her scarf above it.

Then I glued it into place in the front.

I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in January 2011 to raise necessary funds for the charity Scope. We also contributed to the local helpers in Tanzania paying each of the $150 for being our guides. In all I raised £5,500 for the charity. In the photo are the guides.

Youngman looking for waterbirds from our observation point, atop a cliff that was about 50 feet above Lake Superior. We observed 500 Common Loons migrating past the island during the week, plus some ducks and grebes.
