The First Scoping Meeting of the Governing Consortium of the UN Science-Policy-Business Forum on the Environment was convened at the UN Headquarters in New York from 1 to 3 May 2018.
The Scoping Meeting, held under Chatham House rules, aimed to set the agenda and priorities for the work of the Forum in 2018 and beyond. Members of the Governing Consortium of the Forum reviewed the key principles, interventions and contributions to the implementation of the environmental dimensions of the SDGs. Meg is scoping out the 30 foot drop off of this cliff that her husband Travis is about to jump off of. This is at South Point the southern most point in the United States.
Behind the Seneca Rocks Discovery Center is a public telescope often used to watch climbers do their stuff. It so happens that my Canon A95 fits perfectly against the telescope's viewfinder, enabling me to take zoomed shots like this one.
As you can see, this one in particular is not so good since I forgot to zoom my camera in all the way. However, it does show Mike, Ricky, and Tim well into their second climb in as many days.
