We got the transit scope out of the observatory today. Next, we get the mount out and start cleaning it all up.
German o scope, one side opened, this is what i like of the old equipment, they are used serviceable, not like the new crap they sell. All the PCB modules have contact hinges.

I finally got some time to work on the scope. The 3/4" MDF piece is for shaping and scale. The front and back pieces I cut on the CNC, but I noticed their scale is a little small, I might remake them. The Black sentra piece was my first attempt to bend the shape in one piece. I realized I couldn't cut the detail channels in it that way, so I abandoned this approach.
