There have been lots of family pictures in this over the years. It is a scoop from a gold-mining dredge, and now sits by the parking lot of the Pump House restaurant.

My intention with this photo was to exhibit as much sublte color variation as possible. In this, it wasn't important to me to have all of the lines straight, or completely parellel. People often disagree, but I find that it makes photos much more uninteresting.
on the unintentional side, I love when skies are in the mid point of just being cloudy and becoming stormy, like this. (Unfortunately there were scratches in the negative, so the top doesn't look that good.
This is the pelican that took the fish from the seagull in a previous photo.
