The scientist shook the flask in his hand ... no reaction ... batch X37T-A was a failure like all of his previous batches. "Might as well just pour this batch down the sink and start again" he thought.

"I mean, what harm can it do ... "

This vignette was created for the Eurobricks Collectable LEGO Minifigs Series 4 contest as a display setting for the Crazy Scientist minifig.

I got the Barbie Careers Scientist doll and was pleasantly surprised to see that her coat was a separate piece and the pattern on her top goes all the way around. Oh and this one didn't have glue in her head! See, Mattel you can do it!

Our boy at his pre-school graduation in Hawaii -- they had the kids dress as something they want to be when they grow up.

little buggy friend !!!

This is me in my scene at the Trail of Terror. I'm basically a mad scientist, though my scene specifically was "Frankenstein".

The labcoat was made by our costume maker: Dead Threads Costumes. Contact me if you want to commission a costume from Dead Threads. The goggles are WWII era welder's goggles with the dark glass removed. I bought them on E-bay. The neon wire was bought online and is attached to the goggles. It runs to a battery pack on my sleeve.

The costume is based on Professor Membrane from Invader Zim. The photo is by Ricky, another awesome Trail actor.

Monster Scientist

“Hee-hee-ha-ho-hoo! This will be my greatest creation yet!”

The Monster Scientist is obsessed with making things that the world has never, ever seen before. In order to come up with all of his amazing new ideas, he has experimented on his own brain to make it even bigger and smarter…but it’s really just made his silly imagination even sillier.

And the Monster Scientist’s ideas are very silly ones indeed, from butter-resistant toast to rocket-propelled shoelaces. Mostly, though, he makes monsters: big ones, little ones, green ones, blue ones, furry ones, scaly ones, and any other kinds that his giant brain can think up. In fact, just last week he turned an ordinary housefly into a fly monster so that he would have something to swim in the giant bowl of soup that he’d invented the previous day!
