With many schools coming to an end this week, thought this recent sunset photo was appropriate.

The Education (Scotland) Act of 1872 had made elementary education mandatory for all children. To fulfil this obligation, school boards were created and started to build schools better than the earlier voluntary schools.
Photo taken as I was deciding how best to make my way round the puddle.
Fairfield, Utah County, Utah. Built in 1898 using federal funds which became available when Utah became a state in 1896. The building served as a school until 1937. It is now used for weddings and special events.
When I got to school with my sister and dad, my sister spotted a red tailed hawk finishing eating something by the a pond. I walked over and took a quick photo with my dad's camera before the bell rang!
A big school of Blotch Eye Soldierfish (a type of squirrelfish) were inside Fish Rock Cave and did a drive by as we entered the cavern.
So far i'm 0-6 doing the cave dive with Grey Nurse sharks inside. I'm thinking everyone just uses Photoshop. LOL
Occasionally Grace complains, sometimes Lol complains, Alice complains every single time. I think it's a good idea. I've turned into that mean mother.
Literally :) 17th century, no wonder the architecture is somewhat 'old school' (more recent additions and renovations follow the original style). And it's aptly found in... Old Street :) No longer a school, I think - seems to be housing business offices now.
