SWEETY: „Hallo, ich bin auch da, hier oben !!
LUIS: „Hallo Sweety ! Was machst du denn da ?“
SWEETY: „Ich war mit dem Traktor bei meinem Onkel Peter in den Niederlanden zu Besuch.“
BÄRBEL: „Ach so, dann weiß ich jetzt, wo wir sind.“
LUIS: "Zeigt mal, ihr habt ja auch so lustige Schuhe an wie ich !"

Wie oft hatten wir die spanische ‘Götterfrucht’ schon gekauft und genossen, doch erst als wir aus Valencia wieder zurück waren, schauten wir genau und waren erfreut, dass sie tatsächlich aus Valencia kommt !! Früher hatte die Frucht ein blattförmiges Etikett, heute ist es rund. Von der Blüte bis zur Frucht, die entweder als saftige Orange gegessen, in Schokolade gemischt oder zu Saft gepresst wird, aus dem das traditionelle valencianische Getränk 'Aqua de Valencia' gemixt wird, das wir uns nicht entgehen lassen wollten ... 🍸🍊
How often had we bought and enjoyed the Spanish "Fruit of the Gods" but not until we were back from Valencia did we take a closer look and were delighted that it actually comes from Valencia !!! The fruit used to have a leaf-shaped label, but has now become circular. From the blossom to the fruit, which is either eaten as a juicy orange, mixed into chocolate or squeezed into juice, used to mix the traditional Valencian drink ‘Aqua de Valencia’, which we didn't want to miss out on … 🍸🍊
The present referres to the scene when Karlos receives an envelope, a key drops out of it. The letter describes the way to a ladie`s chamber. He thinks that it is from Queen Elisabeth of Valois, whom he is in love with, but it is from Princess of Eboli, who thinks that Karlos is in love with her....

Ein geniales Thema, das mir den tollen Vorwand lieferte, im Fachgeschäft hierfür drei einzelne Pralinen zu kaufen. Nach dem Fotoshooting wurden sie in der Familie natürlich gerecht aufgeteilt.
A brilliant theme that gave me the great excuse to buy three individual chocolates for this in the specialist shop. After the photo shoot, of course, they were shared fairly in the family.

Eines meiner absoluten Lieblingsmärchen ist "Der Froschkönig". Und als Lindt seine Schokolade in einer Frosch-Metalldose verpackt hat, konnte ich natürlich nicht widerstehen und es blieb nicht nur bei einer von diesen Schachteln.
One of my absolute favourite fairy tales is "The Frog Prince". And when Lindt packaged its chocolate in a frog metal box, of course I couldn't resist and it didn't just stay with one of these boxes.

I am CRAZY for real dark chocolate (high cocoa percentages) preferably of organic origin [this one contains 99% cocoa, but 90% will do too ;) ]
... and no no no: don't you say 'chocolate is no real food' !!! :D

für die Gruppe "Verrückter Dienstag" - Thema: Essen / Lebensmittel / Nahrungsmittel
Ich bin "verrückt" nach sehr dunkler Schokolade mit hohem Cacaoanteil (ab 90%) - diese hier ist sehr Cacao-intensiv (99%) !!
... und sag mir bitte keiner, dass Schokolade kein richtiges Essen sei ;D
