Aus diesem Flanellstoff mit Weihnachtsmuster nähte ich vor Jahren Hemden fürs Weihnachtsfest für meine Buben, dazu Samthosen und Gilets.
Years ago, I used this flannel fabric with a Christmas pattern to make Christmas shirts for my boys, as well as velvet trousers and gilets.

Simply done with the left. Mainly anyway. And I didn't have to use scissors for this, because they are difficult for left-handers. Just as many tools are not necessarily suitable to be used with left-hand use. Have you ever used a beveled spatula with your left hand? We are in the minority, but anyone who does everything with the left can understand it and may have noticed that the cup handle and spoon are oriented to the left here ... It was also always a big challenge for me, for example, throwing the sling ball or the shot put correctly – I always had to do everything the other way around. But in the high jump (the other way around) I was very good. Well – the Olympic Games are now over ;-) And I have arranged myself quite passably over the years, I don't want to complain ;-) Oh yes, and by the way ... this view from above shows my morning coffee with milk and a porridge-oatmeal-blueberry-maple-syrup-creation, topped with the rest of the milk foam from the coffee ;-) Very tasty.

Einfach mit links gemacht. Jedenfalls hauptsächlich. Und ich musste dafür keine Schere benutzen, die ist nämlich schwierig für Linkshänder. So wie viele Werkzeuge nicht unbedingt geeignet sind, um sie mit links zu verwenden. Habt Ihr schon einmal einen abgeschrägten Bratenwender mit links benutzt? Wir sind in der Minderheit, aber wer alles mit links macht, kann es nachvollziehen und hat vielleicht bemerkt, dass der Tassenhenkel und der Löffel hier links orientiert sind ... Auch war es für mich immer eine große Herausforderungen, z. B. beim Schleuderballwerfen oder Kugelstoßen richtig zu werfen – ich musste immer alles anders herum machen. Aber im Hochsprung (anders herum) war ich sehr gut. Nun – die Olympischen Spiele sind ja nun auch wieder vorbei ;-) Und ich habe mich über die vielen Jahre ganz passabel arrangiert, ich will nicht meckern ;-) Ach ja und übrigens – diese Ansicht von oben zeigt meinen morgentlichen Milchkaffee und eine Porridge-Haferflocken-Heidelbeer-Ahornsirup-Kreation, getoppt mit dem Rest des Milchschaums vom Kaffee ;-) Ganz lecker.

In almost all African countries, there are hardly any medium-sized businesses. The gap between rich and poor is obvious and not good for society. This state of affairs can also be seen in the way people live. This house in the country is already something out of the rich category. Poor looks quite different...I will show enough. Of course there is also swank. But you find it more in the big cities.
In fast allen Ländern Afrikas gibt es kaum einen Mittelstand. Die Schere zwischen arm und reich ist unübersehbar und nicht gut für die Gesellschaft. Diesen Zustand erkennt man sehr gut daran, wie die Menschen wohnen. Dieses Haus auf dem Land ist schon was aus der Kategorie reich. Arm sieht ganz anders aus...werde ich noch genügend zeigen.

Imperfection? The scissors have broken apart and they now have many scratches and paint stains. The nail polish is not applied very precisely. You can only really see all that if you take it under the lens. That often makes the charm. The nail polish I should maybe renew again ;-) The half scissors does their job very well – I use them to scratch away the overpainted. She is perfect for that ...

Unvollkommenheit? Die Schere ist auseinandergebrochen und sie hat mittlerweile viele Kratzer und Lackflecken. Der Nagellack ist nicht besonders exakt aufgetragen. All das sieht man nur wirklich, wenn man es unter die Lupe nimmt. Das macht oft erst den Reiz aus. Den Nagellack sollte ich vielleicht noch einmal erneuern ;-) Die halbe Schere tut ihren Dienst sehr gut – sie verwende ich, um das Übergemalte wegzukratzen. Dafür ist sie perfekt ...

Schick ist sie geworden, die neue 55er von EBS. 155 195-1 erstrahlt jetzt wieder als 250 195-5 im klassischen bordeauxrot. Kritiker mögen das zu dunkle grau des Fahrwerks bemängeln, aber mir gefällt sie auch so. Zum Glück haben sich die Aussagen verschiedener Eisenbahn Verschwörungstheoretiker nicht bewahrheitet, dass die Lok auch in den schwarzen Farbtopf fällt :-)

C-GIAW, an Israel 1124A Westwind 2, on approach to runway 06L at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Mississauga, Ontario. Operated by SkyCare Air Ambulance of Breslau, Ontario, it was arriving from Sudbury, Ontario.
Serial number 395 was delivered in February 1984 as N95WW to Schering-Plough Corporation. The 37-year-old still looks great.
Ganz knapp entging einer der Opa-Schlümpfe dem fast vorprogrammiertem Wolkenschaden. Unterwegs mit einem ARS/Altmann-AZ nach Mosel konnte ich den mit Scherenstromabnehmer ausgerüsteten Schlumpf am letzten September Tag 2021 in der Nähe von Bornum am Elm aufnehmen.
