Die Aufnahme entstand auf Madeira, in der Nähe von Porto Moniz an einem verregneten Morgen. Als ich früh morgens im Süden losfuhr, ahnte ich noch nicht, wie schlecht das Wetter im Norden der Insel tatsächlich sein würde. Ich entschied mich trotzdem zu fotografieren, wünschte mir aber Scheibenwischer für die Filter ;)).
The picture was taken in Madeira near Porto Moniz on a rainy morning. When I left the south early in the morning, I had no idea how bad the weather would be in the north of the island. I decided to take pictures anyway, but wished for wipers for the filters ;)).

I bought Matchbox's well-used number 13 children's toy at a flea market. At home I dismantled the Dodge Wrecker in BP version. I replaced the broken cabin glazing with one that I constructed from former blister packaging. I repainted all parts. I made lots of additional parts out of steel, wood, plastic, cardboard, paper and sewing thread, such as: Seat with driver, front bumper with cable winch, windscreen wipers, rear-view mirror, antenna, tool box, hand lift trolley, petrol-, diesel-, oil binder cans, wedges and mud flaps.

Compré el juguete infantil número 13 de Matchbox en un mercado de pulgas. En casa desmantelé el Dodge Wrecker en versión BP. Reemplacé el acristalamiento roto de la cabina con uno que construí a partir de un antiguo empaque de blíster. Repinté todas las partes. Hice muchas piezas adicionales de acero, madera, plástico, cartón, papel e hilo de coser, tales como: Asiento con conductor, parachoques delantero con cabrestante de cable, limpiaparabrisas, espejo retrovisor, antena, caja de herramientas, carro elevador de mano , latas de gasolina, diesel, aglomerante de aceite, cuñas y guardabarros.

Ich habe auf einem Flohmarkt das reichlich bespielten Kinderspielzeug Nummer 13 von Matchbox erstanden. Zuhause habe ich den Dodge Wrecker in BP Ausführung auseinandergenommen. Die zerbrochene Kabinenverglasung habe ich ersetzt durch eine, die ich aus einer ehemaligen Blisterverpackung konstruierte habe. Ich habe alle Teile neu lackiert. Aus Stahl, Holz, Kunststoff, Karton, Papier und Nähfaden habe ich viel zusätzliche Teile erstellt wie zum Beispiel: Sitzbank mit Fahrer, Vordere Stossstange mit Seilwinde, Scheibenwischer, Rückspiegel, Antenne, Werkzeugbox, Handliftwagen, Benzin-, Diesel, Oelbinderkanister, Keile und Schmutzfänger.

I got hold of a nice Majorette children's toy with the number 297. I disassembled all parts. I sawed off the rear fenders, lengthened the chassis and added three rear axle brackets. From a blister packet I cut the windows for the cabin. I painted the chassis and the cabin. I added a tilt body and wipers, rear view mirrors, lights, horns, mud flaps and so on.
Now the 1/87 model looks like a heavy Mack bulk dumper.

Conseguí un bonito juguete infantil Majorette con el número 297. Desmonté todas las piezas. Corté los guardabarros traseros, alargué el chasis y añadí tres soportes del eje trasero. De un blister corté las ventanas por la cabina. Pinté el chasis y la cabina. Agregué una carrocería basculante y limpiaparabrisas, espejos retrovisores, luces, bocinas, guardabarros de goma, etc.
Ahora el modelo 1:87 parece un volquete pesado Mack.
El cartel publicitario dice: Yo soy el Señor tu Dios que toma tu mano derecha y te dice: "no temas, yo te ayudaré".

Ich habe ein schönes Majorette Kinderspielzeug mit der Nummer 297 ergattert. Ich habe alle Teile zerlegt. Ich sägte die hinteren Kotflügel ab, verlängerte das Chassis und fügte drei Hinterachsträger hinzu. Aus einer Blisterpackung habe ich die Fenster für die Kabine geschnitten. Ich habe das Chassis und die Kabine lackiert. Ich fügte eine Kippkarosserie und Scheibenwischer, Rückspiegel, Lichter, Hörner, Schmutzfänger und so weiter hinzu.
Jetzt sieht das 1/87-Modell aus wie ein schwerer Mack-Schüttgutkipper.
Auf dem Werbeplakat steht geschrieben: Ich bin der Herr, dein Gott, der deine rechte Hand ergreift und zu dir sagt: "Fürchte dich nicht, ich helfe dir."

Kew Fargo D500 tipper from 1966 with hand pull tarp.
I changed the diecast Matchbox toy no. 48 to a Kew Fargo, applied the lettering and added some details like mirrors, windshield wipers, aerial, mud flaps and licence plates. On the front top of the dumping body I put on the gear for the tarp.

Ich habe das Matchbox-Spielzeug Nr. 48 auf einen Kew Fargo umgebaut, brachte den Schriftzug an und fügte einige Details wie Spiegel, Scheibenwischer, Antenne, Schmutzfänger und Nummernschilder hinzu. Auf der Vorderseite der Kippmulde setzte ich die Vorrichtung für die Plane auf.
Auf dem Werbeplakat steht: "Ich bin das Licht! Jesus"

Die etwas andere Art von Kameraeinstellung, 1/2500 sec. dafür Blende f/5,6 schön offen, dicht rann mit den 28 von dem 300mm und damit der Chip was zu futtern und zum verrauschen hat ISO 1250 zum abrunden. Es wird trotzdem was.
