One of many kitchen scenes Studio M designed and made from 2001 to 2006 in our home workshop in Tinbeerwah near Tewantin. Moral rights/ copyright held RGM StudioM. Click on photo to look at note stating the creators and designers as STUDIOM, written on the brown book lying down on the mantlepiece. This scene was sold to an animation and Promotions company AFTER this photo was taken and has been widely displayed and exhibited since. After its sale, the promotions company added an overhead rotating shaft and cam system to put in motion - simple up and down movements created by connecting fishing lines between objects below and the rotating cams - a commonly used method to provide motion to such scenes. Any subsequent claims by this company or its director to being the scene's creator, 'the mastermind' or the 'creative force' behind the scene would be COMPLETELY false, deliberately misleading and an infringement of our copyright. The company had no creative input or direction into it as it is seen here.
Juanita Wellings, a private contractor, made elves and mice to our drawings and specifications in Clifton in 2005. All original work, sketches, drawings and specification instructions for scene are held by StudioM together with copyright.

Elfy activity in the workshop making toy planes for Santa. Workplace Elf and Safety is taken seriously as can be seen by the inventive jacking systems to hold up the plane.

The scene was sold without transfer of copyright or moral rights which remains with StudioM as the designers and creators.
Juanita, from Clifton,QLD, made the elves and mice to our instructions. When they arrived in the post, as with all scenes, I placed extra characterisation on those where needed. All original drawings, sketches, specifications, written instructions, emails to doll maker are held by StudioM.

Mayhem in the workshop. The silly Christmas elves are trying to make a toy car for Santa.

This scene was sold to an animation and Promotions company AFTER this photo was taken. They later put in motion by way of an overhead rotating shaft and cam system. It has been exhibited widely in many media since by them. However claims by this company and its director to be 'the mastermind' and 'creative force' behind it are completely false, misleading and an infringement of copyright. The scene was just as photographed when the company first saw it. The credits to the designers and creators of this scene as photographed here, StudioM, should still be on the books under Santa's white tin mug, visible and unchanged unless copyright has been abused. All original drawings/artwork/instructions held by StudioM.

Exhiibited in Auckland at Smith and Caughey dept store for Christmas 2008. One of many kitchen scenes StudioM has designed and made -it was also displayed in NZ Christmas 2006 at Cadbury's factory, Dunedin. The true credits to the creators of this scene were written on the purple book titles on the back wall and can be visibly read by hovering your mouse over them. By copyright law these credits to StudioM as the creator and designer should still be visible and untouched. Designed and made by StudioM in 2004 at our home studio at Tinbeerwah/ Cooroy hinterland QLD. Copyright held. Sold in 2004 as you see it here to a promotions company, which has displayed it several times since. One of many of our scenes posted on the Canberra Centre home page Christmas (2006) when they were displayed there. This photo was taken at our home studio as we finished making it. A lot of people in Canberra enjoyed the mouse being flattened in the car hood. Lots of things happening in this scene - the train being pulled up and down along the track, the mouse tipping the tray over the edge, hammering, roller skating, walking up ladders, toys moving up and down , mouse sweeping dolls' house while another pulls up a suitcase to move in. The books holding the car on the right side bear witness to the true designers and creators. See note.

Photo taken at StudioM workshop BEFORE the scene was sold to an animations and Promotions company, which later added some gentle up an down motion by inserting above the scene a rotating shaft with some cams attached. The cams are connected with objects below with fishing lines and as the cams rotate with the shaft, a slight up and down motion or pull is created. It has been exhibited widely. Claims by the promotions company or any christmas events company, or their directors to being the creators of the scene, 'the creative force' or 'the mastermind' behind it are COMPLETELY FALSE, deliberately misleading and an infringement of StudioM's copyright. Acknowledgement to the designer/creator can be seen on the standing books underneath the car.

The first toy workshop scene that I designed and made at StudioM's home studio in Tinbeerwah/ Cooroy in conjunction with the 'Sudsomatic' laundry scene, which has the same blue background.The windows have space behind for lights to be placed to glow through the coloured windows which when done is very effective. The 'chimney sweep' elf who is down the dolls' house chimney is about to pop up and he has been blackened of course, with soot leaving white rings around his eyes. On completion both scenes were taken by a Promotions company which put in some gentle motion - simple up and down movements using fishing lines attached to a rotating shaft and cams system which was inserted above the scene. This scene has been exhibited many times since. Copyright is held by RGM StudioM. Original design drawings and specifications are held by StudioM as copyright holder.
