I hate fireworks. Much like Americans, they're noisy, unpredictable, and could possibly cause bodily harm. (I kid! I kid!) ;)

I'm hiding in the house while Dave is out happily taking photos. The noise is unbearable.

I rotated this 180° and found it funny how scared I look in the top of the shot, which is the full-on shot, with the lower part being the reflection.

Sadly i think the recent storms have really scared all the birds, can't even get close to the Robins at the moment

Last Saturday morning at 8 am something must have scared this squirrel as we caught sight of it scampering up the wall and lodging itself against the pine end. It clung on for grim death and was still there at 3pm when I went for a walk, on my return it had disappeared never to be seen again. Nice happy ending.

While hunting history in Oldtown Alexandria VA, I encountered a lot of seasonal autumn and/or Hallowween decor that insisted on being photographed.

She saw a cat....

I was standing in the middle of my room, my camera in my hands, the window curtains removed. This little coal tit came on the feeder, but the poor girl got so scared that she flew away almost immediately - hence the blur on the photo.
