On our way out to Akalla for the annual subway race. Not much lines left to do now... This is the 8:th race we do (we skipped last year because everyone were having babies or other whitewashes). In short, we go out to the end of a subway line, then we have a beer on the local pub of each station until we get to central Stockholm. Different and fun, this year we were ten participants.
The two Little Texas Aggie Trumpet Case Bears were frightened at the constant stream of cadets that were coming into their personal “cigar den” to buy cigars this Thursday and Friday that they took refuge in the ‘Secret Agent Bear’ buffalo hide leather case.
“Why are so many cadets coming into the cigar den this week?” asked one of the little trumpet case bears.
Alamo Basement Fighting Texas Aggie Ring explained, “Saturday is ‘March to the Brazos’ and most of the senior cadets will want cigars to smoke once they arrive at the Brazos River and bathe in it.”
“Oh.” replied the other little trumpet case bear. “These senior cadets barely look a day over 21 years aged.”
“Indeed they don’t.” answered Aggie Ring. “I guarantee you that as the bus brings them back from the Brazos tomorrow, there will be plenty who have never enjoyed a cigar and will have sore tummies and headaches from the nicotine high they will get from their first cigar.”
April 17, 2011-Scared. This look is the result from mixing some really wild weather, tornadoes, t-storms, downpours and a Chihuahua. Normally Jasper doesn't get too nervous or scared when we have storms but not yesterday. (Day 107:365 @sharkbayte)

I picked up Cook tonight, and he will be hanging here temporarily this weekend while MHS tries to find him a foster home. I couldn't bear for this little guy at his age, to end up in a pound.
Cook is about 10 yrs old. He is a good boy who likes to communicate, play and interact with humans. He was treated like a toddler by his previous owner, an older lady who talked to him, pampered him and fed him her food. Sadly, she had to go to a nursing home that does not allow pets and had to part with Cook. Cook is a sensitive little dog who just wants to be spoiled by his human parent. A retiree/senior person or couple who can provide constant companionship to Cook would be best.
Cook is good with other dogs. He like to chase cats but does not hurt them.
Cook is looking for a foster/adoptive home that suits his requirements.

Taking the colours, hair style and lighting into account, emotions are took to the extreme.
I ended up using this in a blogpost about the movie WALL-E, but that's not why I shot this.
I shot it cuz this was me in a nutshell the past few months.
Yeah, it was just a job, possibly one I didn't even want. And yet I kept beating myself up over how I screwed it all up, kept hiding from the world in a misguided attempt to prevent all and any potential future blunders.
I was photographing some baby gosling (from a fair distance) when this little guy all of a sudden popped up in front of me. I don't think either of us noticed each other until he went scurrying off. I love his tiny wings!

The cat was scared by a passing dog, also interested in the fish caught by some fishermen on Galata Bridge. People saved the cat’s life by sending the dog away!
