A. One of my favorite scapes. I like the whole light at the end of the woods feel.

B. Bumped up the contrast so the small branches are visible.

C. Some brightness so higher f-stop. Normal iso and shutter speed.

We were having fun with all the scapes (garlic seed heads) from the garden!

I went to the farmer's market and came back with beautiful kale and garlic scapes, perfect for a weekend lunch.

Take a bunch of garlic scapes and cut them up into useable pieces. Put them in a food processor with a generous pinch of salt, some pine nuts, basil and parmesan. Slowly drizzle in olive oil while you process the mixture until suddenly delicious pesto happens.

Ink on cartridge paper. A3.

Took this one last September at a festival that happened here at camp Hansen.

Oh yeah, it's scape season! WOOOO!!! And now that Schnookie is a master canner, scapes aren't just for pesto anymore! They're also for pickling!
