One of three images taken at Mud Creek Environmental Learning Center in Ghent (Columbia County), New York, USA on August 20, 2018. I believe this is a Yellow-Collared Scape Moth. The Virginia Ctenucha Moth looks similar.
Seeing as it was a lovely brisk sunny winters day, we took a trip to Heaton Park for a bit of fresh air and to get out of the city for once.
I managed to get quite a few shots I'm happy with, though something that was in my mind since the start of the trip was to have another shot at a photo I took in the park in my 365 project from 2010, a shot I called 'The Big Sky'
I handled it slightly differently this time around, throwing a bit of texture in there to give it a bit more of a ‘watercolour’ feel, but overall it seemed right to use that for my project this year too.

The Karakoram Highway is one of the highest paved international roads in the world, connecting China and Pakistan. On the way it cuts through some of the most spectacular scenery I have ever had the pleasure of seeing.

I would like to know that it happens to you, help you to solve your problems or overcome reality. I wish that you will not act as if everything in your life is good, because if it would be, you would not do that. I wish that when you ask "You what?" you answer the truth, and not a "nothing", because I see sadness in your eyes, you no longer smile and know you too. I see in your dolls brands, brands that are never cured and always hidden. I would like to tell me what's wrong so we can help you, and although you will never do it, I can't escape you, if it is what you need.

She’s probably my favorite ‘right-outta-the-box’ Giselle ever. I gave her some swoopy side bangs and freckles, but otherwise she’s pretty close to perfection for me. Oh, and she’s been bod swapped to a Poppy.

The “scape_lands“ is a readymade-fotowork series developed since 2010.
The theme is the hermetical law of correspondence (we exist in all planes, astral as well as physical) I discovered the scape_lands in the urban environments, the streets of Berlin.

The beautiful scenery of the Faroe islands.
Koltur is an island in the Faroe Islands, located to the west of Streymoy and to the north of Hestur. The island has just one settlement: Koltur. It was abandoned in the 1980s by the sheep-farmers whose flocks grazed on the southern part of the island. Since then only two people have returned (in 1994): they are working on restoring the village. Koltur has one mountain: Kolturshamar (478 m).
