The “scape_lands“ is a readymade-fotowork series developed since 2010.
The theme is the hermetical law of correspondence (we exist in all planes, astral as well as physical) I discovered the scape_lands in the urban environments, the streets of Berlin.

to photograph a small narrow alley in the shade, in addition with sky over the houses is an extreme challenge. So I then also had 20 extremely distorted high-contrast shots to have enough material to overlap and finally I'm satisfied that it looks reasonably natural and hardly anyone can imitate me ;-) ...
but I still wanted to give you an impression how it is before you enter the big cathedral square ...
eine kleine enge Gasse im Schatten zu fotografieren, zusätzlich mit Himmel über den Häusern ist eine extreme Herausforderung. So hatte ich dann auch 20 extrem verzerrte, kontrastreiche Aufnahmen um genügend Material zum Überlappen zu haben und letztendlich bin ich zufrieden, das es halbwegs natürlich aussieht und mir das kaum jemand nachmachen kann ;-) ...
aber ich wollte euch nun Mal einen Eindruck verschaffen, wie es ist bevor man den großen Domplatz betritt ...
Güstrow muss schon um 1100 bestanden haben, da Bischof Otto von Bamberg 1128 zwei Priester dorthin entsandte.
1219 wurde am Standort des jetzigen Schlosses inmitten sumpfiger Wiesen die wendische Burg Güstrow erbaut.
Nach dem Deutschen Städtebuch und anderen Quellen gründete Fürst Heinrich von Rostock (Heinrich Borwin II.) die Stadt Güstrow um 1219 bis 1226 und verlieh ihr das Schweriner Stadtrecht. 1226, schon auf dem Sterbebett liegend, stiftete Heinrich Borwin II. den Dom als Kollegiatkirche.
1228 erfolgte die Bestätigung des Schwerinschen Stadtrechts durch die Söhne Heinrich Borwins II. Deshalb gilt dieses Jahr als erster Urkundenbeleg für die Civitas. Von 1229 bis 1436, dem Aussterben der Linie Werle, war Güstrow Residenz der Herren zu Werle, die ihre alte Stammburg Burg Werle zwischen Schwaan und Bützow nach und nach aufgegeben hatten.
Danach wurde Güstrow Landstadt in Mecklenburg und rangierte als Vorderstadt als erste der Städte im Wendischen Kreis, die bis 1918 auf mecklenburgischen Landtagen der 1523 vereinten Landstände vertreten waren.
1441 wurde die erste privilegierte Schützengesellschaft von Güstrow gegründet.
Zeitweise setzte im 16. Jhd. eine intensive Wallfahrt nach Güstrow ein. Von 1509 bis 1550/52 siedelten Franziskanerobservanten (Klosterhof) in Güstrow.[5] 1503, 1508 und 1512 vernichteten Stadtbrände den Ort. 1556 fiel die Burg einem Brand zum Opfer.
Im Zusammenhang mit der Residenz entwickelte sich auch das Güstrower Bürgertum. Güstrow war für lange Zeit das wirtschaftliche Zentrum des mecklenburgischen Binnenlandes.
Die Stadt wurde geprägt durch Handwerker und Kaufleute, Bierbrauer und Wollweber. Im Jahre 1514 gab es in der Stadt 20 Wollweber, 12 Schuhmacher, 10 Schmiede, 8 Schröder (Schneider), 8 Haken (Kleinhändler), 7 Bäcker, 6 Pelzer und 3 Knochenhauer (Schlachter).
Berühmt in ganz Deutschland war das Kniesenack-Bier. In alten Berichten wird es im Vergleich zu den bekannten Starkbieren seiner Zeit als ebenbürtig erwähnt. Die ursprüngliche Kniesenack-Brauerei befand sich in einem Haus des Güstrower Marktes (Ecke Grüner Winkel).

❂ Il doit son nom latin de Fortunei au botaniste anglais nommé Robert Fortune.
❂ C'est ce dernier qui a découvert les palmiers à Chusan (une ville de Chine) et qui en a rapporté des graines en Europe.
❂ Il est dioïque c'est-à-dire qu'il porte soit des fleurs mâles soit des fleurs femelles.

The Tree of Life is a 145-foot artificial tree that has served as the icon of Disney's Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort since the park first opened on April 22, 1998. Inspired by Rafiki's Ancient Tree, the amazing Tree of Life features approximately 325 carvings of existing and extinct animal species carved on its trunk and large surrounding roots. Engineered from a refitted oil platform and based on the natural forms of baobab trees, the Tree of Life is located on Discovery Island, roughly in the center of the park. Its leaves are made out of kynar. - is truly quite amazing and fascinating to see!
