Yay! It's finally done!
Designed and folded by me, Chad Killeen. Folded from one uncut square of paper.
This one took quite some time to make, not the whole folding process, but MC takes a while to dry :)
This one has a few modifacations from my previous one, nothing serious, just a few modifacations in a few places.

When we see images of the earth and the moon, they are never in scale, because they are so far apart that it is not practical to portray them in scale. Subsequently, most people do not realize how far apart the earth and the moon actually are, so I made this graphic to better show the relationship.

Scaling a Bluefish
28 August 2013 -- 240/365
Providence, Rhode Island
I had eight straight hours of meetings today, including a four-hour block that ran right through lunch. Knowing I wouldn't get out during the day, I stopped at India Point Park on my way to work. Just as I arrived, this fisherman pulled in a good-sized bluefish. The blues were running strong at the time, as two other fisherman also pulled in blues while I was taking this photo. As you see in this photo, they scale the fish on the spot. They then tie a rope through its gills and mouth and hang it back in the water to keep it fresh. I asked if he had a problem with crabs taking hitting his fresh catch, and he admitted he hadn't thought of that possibility. In any case, despite there being no sign of the blues in local waters yesterday, it's clear from today's experience that they have arrived for their fall run.
Post processing started with a brilliant cold filter in Topaz Adjust. I then adjusted adaptive exposure, regions, and contrast. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
In scale 1:2000 this was the smallest scale project we have done so far. Very distinct look with black landscaping and silver roads. Softscape was matte while hardscape was shiny black.
Model was built in 4 days for a competition.
