Spent more time messing around with panel lines then sprayed Alclad primer, various metallics over the leading edges and in blotches elsewhere.
After that a thin coat of hairspray, a pre-shade, and a topcoat of Royal Light Grey, then chipping.
My first real attempt at the HS technique - it's quite tricky!

Painted much the same way as the Chainrasps but with a different cloth recipe using Mechanicus Standard Grey, Administratum Grey, Nuln Oil and Ulthuan Grey with some thinned Black for specific shading.
The hafts are a thin coat of Baneblade Brown with a wash of Athonian Camoshade, then rough edge highlights with Administratum Grey and a heavy wash of Nuln Oil.
The skulls are Zandri Dust and Ushabt Bone with an Agrax wash and then detailed washes/lining using an Agrax/Abaddon Black lining mix.
Bases next and whatever stuff I've forgotten.
Added some more traditional weathering with washes, and put it on the bike's base. I ended up adding a bit more oil and grease, and a sticker, but I don't have a nice close-up of the final version yet.

1/24 scale model Danbury Mint collectible car. This model is over ten years old, and is usually behind glass.
Pacific Field is a 1:600 scale concept stadium model. This is a completely scratch built model, designed and crafted in 2007. The model is approximately 90% bass, balsa and veneer woods, and 10% wood-laminated foam. The model was completed in 7 months and photographed in Valencia, California.
