This custom award was ordered to present to a veteran Dick's Store Network's executive to commemorate over 20 years of service and dedication. The award is depicting a Dick's Store Front very close to real architecture and proportions. It was developed in 3D, rapid prototyped using high durability plastic, assembled and painted manually. The model of a store front is mounted on a Mahogany base with a custom brass nameplate (a content of the nameplate is burred for confidentiality reason).
This is a series of 1:5 scale models of the Photon Spacecraft, featuring three modifications of it, each – configured for a different planetary mission. The models were developed in 3D software, parts were printed out of extended durability plastic, and the models were assembled, painted and decorated manually including a gold foil wrap of the main hull. In addition to three exterior models, we also provided a twice smaller model, featuring the interior structure and tanks, common for all three crafts. The models are designed to be mounted on custom bases. The models and the bases are packed conveniently in heavy duty Rotomold transit cases with custom foam lining. These models are easy to transport, to assemble and disassemble, and to handle
MDF slab with a couple of Neodymium magnets expoxied into it. Then sealed with dilute PVA, textured with lightweight filler and finally sealed again with tinted gesso.
