Scale-feathered Malkoha

The Scale-feathered Malkoha (Phaenicophaeus cumingi) is a species of cuckoo in the Cuculidae family. It is endemic to the Philippines.
Just one to show the scale of the rocks and waves compared to this guy (who got pretty wet shortly after this one . . .)

It was a lot harder than i thought it would be. I'm hoping the longer i do it for, the more my photography will improve.
Scale model goodness converged at the UP College of Fine Arts for the pre-Nationals Photoshoot of IPMS Philippines Bert Anido, in preparation for the 7th National Scale Modeling Competition this November.
Teaching fellows with South Carolina Afterschool Leaders Empowered (SCALE) visited Henderson Hopkins Elementary Middle School in Baltimore City to observe Summer Arts for Learning Academy (SALA). Additionally, after a tour of SALA, they had the opportunity to speak with graduates of the Bloomberg Arts Internship to learn about their experiences in the program and how they continue to be involved.
This bedroom is of course more Georgian chinoiserie. I still need to do something with the bed. But the rest is looking pretty good.
1/48 Scale T-72 Main Battle Tank with Iraqi paint and markings. The model didn't have the exhaust port modeled properly. It basically just had an indentation where the exhaust is located.. I took a piece of sprue and used a dremel tool to shape it then used bronze and silver paint to make it appear metallic but rusted.. I thought it came out nicely.
