The whole of London is being reconstructed, Knightsbridge has become unrecognisably, everything pulled down and being built with new flats or shops..
Scaffolding was typically made of bamboo. It was daunting to think about clmbing 10's of stories up on beams from thin wood.
The question is, is this beneficial since bamboo is a renewable resource?

This photo is 'as taken' apart from some very slight cropping at the top. The lightness of the lines against the sky remind me of my drawings of buildings when I was an art student. I created many lines on paper as I groped for an accurate representation of the linear perspective of a building.
I hated linear perspective with a passion when I was required to draw buildings. I made a couple of sculptures (or environmental art pieces) about perspective trapping and twisting reality and minds. I don't think people really understood because the execution was not as great as I would have liked.
