Entrance to the Norfolk Melting Shop, built c.1918.
In 1993 this gateway was dismantled and moved a short distance along the road. The stones were cleaned, and it was rebuilt without the doors, windows and brick infill.

"I heard you signed for Vanbrugh Whittaker's latest movie.
"I did, but it's in development hell. She's also producing and the funding fell through. She does hope we can start filming this year."
"I'm so glad you've agreed to do a concert tour book for us. We're eager to expand our music titles list and a concert book would be perfect."
Lothian Buses Gemini 2 number 926 (SN09 CVL) ‘Livingstone’ is seen here on West Savile Terrace in Blackford in Grange/Prestonfield operating a service 24 to Waterfront Broadway by the Scottish Gas HQ in West Granton, West Pilton/West Granton. Taken on Monday the 26th of July 2021.
Gemini Two 926 (SN09 CVL) ‘Livingstone’ was new to Lothian in April 2009 as 926 in Harlequin. It was new to Longstone depot.
It was repainted into Madder and White Swoops. In 2015 it gained an orange roof with big ‘29’s on each side along with 927-936 as branding for service 29. In 2017 it lost its branding and has since been in standard Madder and White Swoops. 926 and 927 were the only two of 926-936 not to move to Lothian Country in 2017.
The name ‘Livingstone’ comes from me just using any word that starts with the same letter as the registration plate ends with to name buses.
My nicknames for buses are not in any way official, neither are the numbers that I have assigned to the days.
The red ‘Route Diverted’ blind in the sun was irresistible to photograph, roller blinds are getting rarer by the week and the colourful intermediate blinds are a feature that will soon be gone forever.
If I have made any mistakes or errors in this description then please do feel free to say!
I hope everyone is staying safe during lockdown and coping well.
