Mist, suspension in the atmosphere of very tiny water droplets (50–500 microns in diameter) or wet hygroscopic particles that reduces horizontal visibility to 1 km (0.6 mile) or more; if the visibility is reduced below 1 km, the suspension is called a fog. Mist appears to cover the landscape with a thin, grayish veil. Presently, 14 of 23 (61%) vulture species worldwide are threatened with extinction, and the most rapid declines have occurred in the vulture-rich regions of Asia and Africa. The American counterpart are doing relatively ok in part because of some strict regulations and more awareness. We need them more than they need us, as a decline in scavengers has been linked to increased disease locally. After one week I already have a bunch of them growing.

Aan het begin van de Schevingse Pier staan wat schuttingen waarop SOGOSHOW en STUDIOZEPA hun creativiteit hebben losgelaten. Achter deze schuttingen bevindt zich de plek van Treasure Hunt. Een groep die zich zorgen maakt over de vervuiling van onze aarde, in dit geval ons strand en de zee. Hier kan je gevonden schatten (plastic) afval e.d. brengen.

I’m probably not on my own in wanting to save the world through being a nice green citizen – our Government tells us it’s the right thing to do – Scientists preach that the world is doomed unless you and I do something about it – and there are thousands of environmental agencies and charities promoting how we should be doing it – so off I went to find out the costs of getting my house environmentally friendly – and nearly died when I found out that to just fit my little solar panel and connect it to my heating system would cost me an extra £7000 plus. I told the plumber I only wanted to heat my house and not the rest of the village. So the solar panels will have to wait. Pity – I was in the mood to save the world today. Perhaps tomorrow:)))
