“Save Tin Pan Alley DAY,” on Sunday, October 22, 2-5 pm at Pergola Restaurant, 36 West 28th Street.

Musicians and preservationists gathered on West 28th Street between Broadway and 6th Avenue for a free public celebration of “Tin Pan Alley,” where the American popular music industry was created in the late 19th-early 20th century. The afternoon included remarks, live performances, walking tours and sheet music exhibit to bring attention to this history and call on New York City to protect Tin Pan Alley as a cultural historic district by the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission.

Save the Buckeye held a great tailgate event on October 25, making

appearances at ESPN College Game Day, getting signatures from star Buckeye

players, and sending more than two dozen canvassers out among tailgating

Buckeye fans to spread the word about the Buckeye's plight. We even talked

to Brutus himself! All had a great time. Stay tuned for more Save the
