View of the water surface on a Sunny day, where a floating sauna dangles.

"It is called the the world's most beautiful sauna - glittering like a piece of jewelry in Lake Bandak."
"The artistic idea - The inspiration for the sauna is derived from surrounding landscape and history. The characteristic silhouette of the building is an interpretation of the steep mountainsides surrounding the Bandak lake. The wooden shingle cladding is inspired by local building techniques. Integrated in the cladding are gleaming golden shingles. The gold is a reference to local folklore; to the mythical and outlandish. It also references the obvious contrast which arose between the soft-spoken people of Telemark and lavish upper-class foreign travellers during the establishment of Dalen Hotel at the end of the nineteenth century."

Dalen. Telemark.
The fun and games on a sauna boat.
The Norwegians certainly don't lack humor and imagination.
But one thing was clear: I wasn't going to miss out on a sauna boat, so I booked it before I even left. So, to anyone thinking of doing the same: make sure you book a sauna boat in good time when visiting Oslo. I can only highly recommend it. (¬‿¬)

What is better than a hot sauna, in the middle of the city fjord on a rainy January day. There were 2 couples here when the photo was taken, but they hid from the photographer. I can't understand why? He he. If you look closely, you will see the flames in the sauna stove.

This crooked sauna building, indeed called ”The Drunken Sauna” among local people, is located some 30 km from Helsinki. I recently learned that it was built in the 50’s, sold in early 90’s and the current owner has abandoned the place, making it a perfect spot for photographers. Since abandoning, the building’s foundations have collapsed due to ice pressure in winter time, making it dangerous to enter these days.

Imagine to dip your body in this cold lake and thereafter warm you up in the sauna :D
The view was breathtaking. The mountain Gaustatoppen with its 1883 meter above sea was snowcovered and made the scene even more magic.
What an atmosphere it was here
Sauna built in 2015 called "Allmänna Bastun" (English: "The Public Sauna"). Construction of the sauna began in September 2014, when the public participated in a workshop led by the architecture firm Raumblaborberlin. The sauna is built from recycled materials as a prototype. It accommodates 20 people and has a very nice view of Gothenburg harbour.
It will be rebuilt in the same style.

Sauna is a sacred place for the Finns. In the heat of the sauna you can clean up and relax. There you can chat and share your thoughts with your family and friends. The best place for a sauna is by a lake. It’s nice to plop to the cool water after taking a hot sauna, where usual temperature is about 70-90 degrees Celsius.
I used LEDs in the stove to create the fire illusion.
