Welcome 2014 :) I hope everyone enjoyed or are still in the process of welcoming the new year. My last day of 2013 was a bit of an emotional roller coaster at first but then it turned out just fine. Finally back to BKK after a crazy,busy and a bit frustrating weekend, but I was still able to sneak for a bit a snap a few pictures. This image is of one of my students in the Tanya Resort in Sattahip and as you can see the weather is a bit crazy. Looking forward to catching up and seeing my contact's latest work :) Great week ahead everyone!
Why? To get barbecued, to get cooked in Tom Ka Gai, Khao mok gai, Khao man gai, the reasons are endless and delicious. Not a happy ending for the chicken, but for anyone else except vegetarians. This is possibly not a joke in Thailand, but that's my answer to it.

Wat Sattahip or Wat Luangpho I
It was constructed during the reign of King Rama V by Luangpho I or Phrakhru Worawet Muni who possessed knowledge of meditation and was the comforter for local in their difficult times. Therefore, the monk was highly respected among the locals.
This is a beautiful sunset over a harbor or port area.
