Some stoner rock after Jessie Deluxe, before Nudist Priest. The Monster Magnet guitarist made a guest appearance.
At short notice I was offered press passes to the second two days of the Sasquatch music festival in Eastern Washington.
It was an odd affair - with the audience made up almost entirely of people between the ages of 19-22. They all seemed to be having an innocently fun time, despite the polite but ever-present policing of drug or alcohol consumption.
It was this that made it feel different from Glastonbury, as much as the relentless sunshine and dust, but everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, regardless.

Sasquatch, is the name given to a cryptid ape- or hominid-like creature that some people believe inhabits forests, mainly in the Pacific Northwest region of North America. Most scientists discount the existence of Sasquatch and consider it to be a combination of folklore, misidentification, and hoax, rather than a living animal, because of the lack of physical evidence and the large numbers of creatures that would be necessary to maintain a breeding population. It is described in reports as a large hairy ape-like creature, in a range of (6.6-9.8 ft) tall, weighing in excess of 500 pounds and covered in dark brown or dark reddish hair. The enormous footprints, for which its nickname Bigfoot derived, have been as large as 24 inches (60 cm) long and 8 inches (20 cm) wide. Bigfoot has had a demonstrable impact as a popular culture phenomenon and to this day remains one of the greatest mysteries of all time as the existence has yet to be proved or disproved. What do you believe!?
