Went to the Sasquatch Music Festival at The Gorge in Washington state over the weekend - it was incredibly beautiful. A natural amphitheater overlooking the Columbia River in eastern Washington, the views were phenomenal.
This pic was taken about halfway down the hill on the main stage. I believe we were heading down to dance to Michael Franti closer to the stage.
We saw so many great shows - MIA, Modest Mouse, Cold War Kids, Tegan & Sara, Micheal Franti, The Cure, Delta Spirit, Thao Nguyen, Pela, The Cave Singers, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Ghostland Observatory and the tail end of The Flaming Lips.
Saw a few other shows that weren't quite as exciting for me personally - but with this view and all the great people watching, I wasn't complaining!

The aftermath of the previous night's dance party. Our immediate Canadian neighbors understandably decided to abandon their spot, which left a hole between our camp site & the DJ. The tarp & canvas on the ground are the building materials for a soon-to-be-failed "yurt."
We spotted this sasquatch on Hwy #3 close to the Anarchist mountain summit. He froze in mid-stride, hoping we wouldn't see him (at over 9 feet tall.....really?). Confirmation that the sasquatch exists is verified by next picture.
MGMT crowd - May 31, 2010
This year seemed to be all about the audience... They are as much a part of a good (or bad) show as the performers, and often times some of the rawest energy you will ever experience.
