Therefore, to commemorate his birthday, on 5th September Teachers’ Day was celebrated at Calorx Public School, Ghatlodia in a very innovative way. A life size portrait of Dr. S Radhakrishnan was painted and the students paid homage to the legendary teacherby offering flowers. Students performed skits e.g. Dhronacharya&Eklavya; Parashuram&Karna; Ramanand&Sachin Tendulkar to show the Guru Shishya relationship. They also performed a dance and gave speeches about Dr. Radhakrishnan& importance of teachers in the life of students. Principal, Mrs. NishrinRafique emphasized the importance of a teacher in shaping the future of the nation.
