The new #hashtags rock. Feels like it's transformed the usability of IG with the bonus of finding out who's near you using it. Searches for cities get some great numbers already. Just think it's going to take a long time to tag all my pictures...

louistrapani: I spent hours last night tagging many of my images here on Instagram (close to 400 now). I still should go back over them and add tags I may had missed the first time. I agree, it's a major enhancement for Instagram.

looking_glass: It looks like a painting--- what did you edit with? The curves on the cup are so smooth and the light so great.... Yes, hangovers are harder the older one gets. It's why I don't drink at all now =)

sanjayprasad: @looking_glass TrueHDR/TiltShiftGen/CameraBag with the ColourCross filter. I've found TrueHDR to be really good (following updates) when the iPhone is clamped or sitting on something so the images align perfectly. Not sure how I managed the patience to do it at the time :)

looking_glass: I have ProHDR. Have you used for comparison point? I really love the texture of the cup &sofa. It fascinates me. You had a lot of patience. Head fuzziness and slowing down helped here! =)

To be fair the effect is all from the sunlight, it was a rare sunnyday in Manchester and the grain on the seats is new and therefore deep, the light really picked it up.

looking_glass: As according to that link back in 71 your Father would have forked out 710 Swiss francs for it! =) and! It is commonly referred to as the f300 because it has a tuning fork that resonates at 300 oscillations per second, and is accurate to within 2seconds a day.... That was a fun exercise for me!oh ... As a side note I was living in Switzerland for the earlier half of this year and their meticulous punctuality & orderliness & rules pleased me and drove me insane in equal measures!.... But v. Nice watch! =) what a lovely legacy from your Father

sanjayprasad: @looking_glass not seen the link but it's an automatic mechanism, the one you're referring to is one of the first quartz movements introduced by Omega, they're very collectable now. I think mine will be v different, it's basically all gold (really not my taste but this watch seems to pull it off). I do love the history of it, it was given to me on my 30th as he'd worn it every day till then, he thought it should have a new custodian!
