Ready to walk outside, loading up with facial gear. ISO 6400 on an old Fuji X-T1. I do think this color of mask goes quite well with my lovely complexion and childlike innocence. :)
…But I don’t know what it is. Renovations ongoing to the modernist May Company building (1961, William S. Lewis) at Mission Valley Center, San Diego.

Last night I headed over to Coronado to capture some photos of San Diego’s most iconic bridge. It was raining earlier in the evening when I left, but when I arrived it had stopped and the skies began to clear up. While I was setting up this shot it, I don’t think I’ve ever noticed it before, but it dawned on me that the pillars had a resemblance to the Greek symbol Pi ( π ). What do you think?

Looking south along the 805 towards Southcrest (San Diego) and National City. Lincoln High School field is on the lower left. The two bridges crossing the 805 are Ocean View Blvd. and Logan Ave. The interchange in the middle of the photo was originally intended to connect the 805 with a new east-west freeway (State Route 252) linking to the 5, but that was never built. So the massive flyover ramps only serve as regular on and off ramps to South 43rd St.
