A beautiful house in the Imperial district of Metz.

Located at 22 rue Foch, this house will give place in a few months to a world premiere. Thanks to the talent of the designer Philippe Stark, the replica of this house will be at the top of the 50 meters of a new luxury hotel in the Pompidou district to Metz.

The Salomón bridge is a railway bridge located in the Spanish municipality of Niebla, in the province of Huelva. This infrastructure, which was originally part of the Riotinto railway,1 suffered various reconstructions or reforms throughout its history. Currently, the Salomón bridge is abandoned and does not provide service, after the closure of the mining railway in 1984.

Originally, a bridge of the same name was built, designed by the British engineer George Barclay Bruce, to serve the Riotinto railway that came into service in 1875. The railway line linked the Riotinto mines with the port of Huelva. However, this first infrastructure was completely destroyed during a flood in 1888.2 Due to this, a new bridge was built, which is the one that has survived to this day.

This new infrastructure has a length of 68 meters and consists of two equal sections supported by a central massif that rises above the Tinto River, this being placed diagonally to the direction of the river current.2 It is a bridge of classic lines, built in the form of a lattice box girder. It was renovated in 1932 and remained in service for nearly a century, until the closure of the railway in 1984. Currently, the Solomon Bridge is abandoned and out of service. In addition, the infrastructure is in poor condition.

Salomon Run Barcelona is a footrace around the Montjuïc hill, through stairs, parks, streets and emblematic spots of Barcelona. The track will be 10km and 180m of positive slope with stairs, dirt sections, sections of asphalt and sidewalks with some stretches of steep slopes both upstream and downstream. The race should be done running but it is allowed to walk in the toughest sections.

The only one.

Am I fading from your mind

Has the distance blurred the lines?

They say all things heal with time, but it's untrue..

I will linger on every word

I know it's more than I deserve

Chances are I'll make it worse, but I need to

Tell you, tell you that I'm sorry,

Tell you that I'm stupid,

I'll tell you all my secrets,

All my fears, I'll let go

And it's flawless....

You are the only one,

You are the only one,

Don't you know?

My photos of this Polar Bear when he first arrived at this Walrus carcass reveal a rather white-face. But as he fed his muzzle became increasingly blood-stained and red. Although it looks like he has closed eyes, if you zoom in they are clearly open, just very small. This is quite a good shot of his teeth too, well, the lower jaw at least. Enough to see that you wouldn't want to get bitten by one. Food is scarce in the high arctic but a Walrus would be too much for one Polar Bear in one sitting. But if another bear approached there would almost certainly be aggression until the dominance hierarchy was established, and the subservient one would await its turn to feed. I once saw a fresh whale carcass with several dozen Polar Bears in the vicinity. But only half a dozen big males were actually feeding, with the smaller males, and females with cubs just waiting patiently until the big ones had finished.

This was taken at Virgohamna on Spitsbergen, close to the old whaling settlement of Smeerenburg. It was also the site of a hangar for a number of attempts to reach the North Pole by balloon. The bay was named by Swedish explorer Salomon Andrée after his steam ship Virgo in 1896. Andrée also built a hangar here from which he made two attempts to reach the North Pole by hot air balloon, the second one was fatal.
