I often find interesting pictures at home improvement shows (don't know why) and I was walking around with the D90 hanging around my neck. This guy must have thought I was a pro, since most people don't come armed with that much camera to these kinds of shows. Anyway, auto white balance, 1600 ISO and continuous release came through for me.
I'm playing around with Picasa to prep for a class I'm doing tomorrow at St. Charles on same. A little cropping and the "I'm feeling lucky" button and I was finished.

The Sierra made 'famous' in this week's issue of Classic Car Weekly. A trio of salesrep favourites put against each other in an article just as cheesy as the cars.
Sometime ago Mark O'Brien gave me some Kodak publications, this one was titled "KODAK Photo Counter Guide and Training Manual." As indicated by the title it was to be used to train new employees to handle photofinishing and film sales. One of the first images used in the training section for photofinishing was the above image. I am not sure our salesman "Joe" is really interested in his job, he missed one of the first sales points, "Make eye contact."
The publication was dated 1968
Check the notes for most of the stuff, but there are a few things not pictured:
- My water cup. Usually sits in front of my phone when water is in it.
- My 30GB Gen1 Zune. My work laptop hates syncing with it, so it usually just sits alone on the left side of my desk.
- My glasses. I can't work at a computer anymore with them on, so they usually sit to the left of my notepad.
- Two whiteboards on either side of my cube. I usually put down quick reminders or project ideas on those. They provide some more analog pixels. ;)

Silk sales rep try to sell me silk. We took a rare tour guided trip (normally go on our own) in Suzhou for 15 yuan which was a full day thing with bus but they don't tell you about the tourist traps they take you to as well. Price sounds good but beware!! We spent half the time at places where they get kick backs and try to sell us things. Although I still enjoyed the tour of Suzhou.

As we paid the cashier after lunch we talked to a gentleman ahead of us and it turned out to be a sales rep I used to work with when I had the bookshop. I remarked later that he really looked marvelous considering that I thought he'd passed away.
