Der Mont-Saint-Michel ist eine der meistbesuchten Sehenswürdgkeiten Frankreichs und sicherlich eine der schönsten.
Monte Pellegrino has always been considered a sacred mountain by the people of Palermo.
On this mountain lived the last years of his life a young noblewoman, a certain Rosalia, who had decided to live as a hermit.
He died on 4 September 1160 or 1165.
On July 15, 1624, while the plague was scourging Palermo, Rosalia's bones were found in a cave in the mountain. The relics were carried in procession and the plague was defeated. Rosalia became the patron saint of the city, the “Santuzza”, and the Sanctuary was built around the cave.

Monte Pellegrino è stato sempre considerato dai palermitani un monte sacro.
Su questa montagna visse gli ultimi anni della sua vita una giovane nobildonna, tale Rosalia, la quale aveva deciso di vivere da eremita.
Morì il 4 settembre del 1160 o 1165.
Il 15 Luglio 1624, mentre la peste flagellava Palermo, le ossa di Rosalia furono ritrovate in una grotta della montagna. Le reliquie furono portate in processione e la peste venne sconfitta. Rosalia divenne la santa patrona della città, la “Santuzza”, e attorno alla grotta venne eretto il Santuario.

Inside the neo-Byzantine church of Saint Julien in Domfront, Normandy. The church was built 1924-1926 by the architect Albert Guilbert, and is made of armed concrete. It was made a "Monuments historique" in 1993.
Volgens de legende is de brug die Saint Cado met het vaste land verbindt, het werk van de duivel. In ruil voor de aanleg zou de eerste ziel die de brug zou oversteken, worden geofferd. De mensen waren zo slim om een kat als eerste te laten oversteken.

Mont-Saint-Aubert (en wallon Mont-dlé-Tournai) est un village de photos Belgique situé en région wallonneau nord-ouest de la province de Hainautà quatre kilomètres au nord de la ville de Tournai. Il fait administrativement partie de cette ville depuis la fusion des communes de 1977étant dans le district de Kain ; c’était auparavant une commune à part entière. Selon le dernier recensement établi en 2005le village compte 608 habitants répartis sur un territoire de 884 hectares. Le mont qui donne son nom à la commune culmine à 149 mètres.

Une histoire à raconter sur cette photo :
Nous ne sommes plus tout à fait dans la narration de mon confinement, cette photo ayant été prise le 12 mai : une de mes toutes premières première sortie à plus d'un kilomètre de la maison.
Il y en avait un autre qui faisait sa première sortie après un long confinement : mon vieux Fuji X100 première génération que je croyais perdu. Je l'ai retrouvé la veille de cette promenade.
Le pauvre : 5 ans dans un placard bien sombre de ma résidence secondaire.
Il a quand même fallu racheter la batterie, l'ancienne tenait à peine 30 photos.

So today my minds are with my father! He past away almost 2 years ago.
You past away but my memories still are here. And a person is just gone if we do not think about him anymore. Soon, the 14th of November is your Birthday and i keep our lifetime moments in my heart!
Tracks in the sand
One night I had a dream:
I was walking along the sea with my master.
Against the dark night sky
shone, like streaks of light,
images from my life.
And each time I saw two footprints in the sand,
my own and my master's.
When the last image passed my eyes
I looked back.
I was startled to discover
that in many places of my life's journey
there was only a trace to be seen.
And those were the hardest times of my life.
Concerned, I asked the Lord:

to be with me in all my ways.
But now I discover
that in the hardest times of my life
there is only a trace in the sand.
Why did you leave me alone
when I needed you most?"
Then he answered, "My dear child,
I love you and will never leave you alone,
especially in times of need and difficulty.
There, where you have seen only a trace
you have seen,
I have carried you."
